Specialty coffee roastery
Blonde roast first.
DELMONT is a specialty coffee roastery in the making, in Alexandria, Romania. Our aim is blonde roast: one roast profile, done as well as we can, and a green coffee supply built around it.
Blonde roast
Less fire. More flavour.
Blonde roast is a shorter roast at a lower temperature. The beans stay light, and the cup tastes of where they came from: fruit, flowers, citrus.
It also hides nothing. Every defect in the green bean shows up in the cup, which is why the quality of what we buy matters more to us than to most roasters.

What we are looking for.
We are setting up our roastery now and choosing the importers we want to work with for the long term. We will buy on samples, and we would rather build one good relationship than chase the lowest price.

What we would like to roast.
We have no coffees yet. These are the origins that draw us for blonde roast; the final choice depends on the samples we receive.

What our bags will look like.
Compostable kraft, a valve, a window to see the beans and one colour per origin. Still a concept.
For suppliers
We are building our supply chain now.
Green coffee, packaging, equipment. If you can help, we would like to meet you now, not after we open.
